Qualifications
I have approximately 46 years of professional and practical electronics experience evaluating and repairing all makes and models of Televisions, including HDTV and projection televisions, Closed Circuit Television Systems (CCTVs), video cassette recorders (VCR), stereo amplifiers, antique radios, record players, DVDs, microwave ovens,and the ability to fix hard to repair electronic equipment.
Test Equipment
We currently have approximately $80,000 of professional test equipment and other support items. Current service manuals and skematic diagrams and a stock of the most commonly used eletronic parts to complete repairs in a professional and timely manner. Rapid turn around time is important.
We have recently purchased test equipment to diagnose and properly align and converge HDTV and projection televisions.
Our Labor Pricing System
We have utilized the Sperry Tech Labor Pricing System for electronics repair for many years and intend to continue to use this effective method which is a flat rate method based on thousands of inputs from various electronics technicians across the USA in terms of the amount of time involved for each specific repair. In-home repairs are based on $0.33/mile using the Internet MAPBLAST program and $30/hour trip time. Our time in the customer's home or business is based on $45/hour, plus parts and shipping. We do Insurance estimates of damaged equipment using the latest digital camera equipment along with a written report to effectively communicate our assessment of the damage for your agent.
